Management

The existence of a conflict of interest does not automatically preclude the provision of services. Conflicts will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and managed through appropriate disclosure, documentation, and mitigation strategies.

Additionally, Insight Professional Practice may manage conflicts by:

  • Restricting involvement in discussions.

  • Restricting access to information.

  • Reassigning mentoring relationships.

  • Reassigning audit activities.

  • Requiring withdrawal from decision-making processes.

Register of Interests

Insight Professional Practice will maintain a register of disclosed interests.

The register will be reviewed periodically.

Failure to Disclose

Failure to disclose a conflict may result in:

  • Removal from volunteer roles.

  • Suspension of responsibilities.

  • Further governance action as determined by Insight Professional Practice.

Review

This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as required.
